We’ve completely redesigned the Verkada Alarm System for 2024, building a new platform from the ground up. Our goal is to set a new industry standard by delivering an enhanced experience at every touchpoint—from unboxing and mounting to installation and wiring—embodying Verkada’s clean, professional, and confident aesthetic.

Our goal is to create a very familiar push and click experience just like the hand-drill battery. Thanks to the effort of our mechanical design team to make this comes true and really set us apart from the competitors. This design also enabled no exposed hot-wire to eliminate the chance of shocking and shorting the unit during installation.
8 zones expander
The 8-zone expander is a pivotal component of Alarm V2, unlocking new possibilities for our system, making Verkada alarm a more flexible platforms for client, carrying over the seamless and intuitive experience from our single door controller. Focused on ensuring that it is easy to mount, wire, and secure—all while staying true to Verkada’s design language.
