At Verkada, we're committed to setting a new standard for enterprise security. The latest generation of our fisheye digital PTZ camera represents a rebirth of our camera lineup, featuring a range of enhancements from mounting and installation to final setup. We've refined every detail, incorporating a cleaner, more precise industrial design with subtle branding that elevates the overall experience.
under the cover
Our team invested significant effort in enhancing features beneath the cover, including the whole new latch gland design, troubleshooting LED to streamline the installation process and simplify any necessary diagnostics. Additionally, a mic enable switch has been integrated to uphold privacy standards, ensuring a sensitive approach to user protection.
latch seal design
The new Latch Seal design addresses a major challenge from the previous generation, where complex assembly and multiple tools made proper sealing difficult. This redesign simplifies the process, with only two parts—one of which is removable—and requires just a single T10 screwdriver for full installation. This streamlined approach not only speeds up installation but ensures a secure, reliable seal every time.
streamlined installation & troubleshooting
To further streamline the installation process, our team developed a new system that monitors installation steps and simplifies troubleshooting. This marks a significant improvement over the previous generation, where installers had to rely on a single LED to diagnose more than ten potential issues.
final touch
Mounting a circular object on the wall can be challenging, so we've added a built-in bubble level to the new generation of Verkada cameras. This feature makes installation faster, easier, and more precise, ensuring a smooth experience for our installers.
